Recent VS releases (after 2017 for sure) no longer use BSCMAKE (information is saved in the database file). This seems to come up in long term projects which preserve old settings when updating to the next VS version. I had similar warnings from my main project and just killed off all generation of browse information with no ill effects (and fewer messages).
