SDL_DisableScreenSaver and password lock screensaver

Hi All, SDL_DisableScreenSaver doesn't work on Windows if the screensaver is set to "on resume, display logon screen." Testing other random games on Steam, they all seem to prevent the screensaver despite the password lock setting. Any ideas how to solve this?
