List,

Is there any active efforts to enable the use of autoconf, automake, and
libtool when compiling state threads? If there are no active efforts, would
the group be open to the idea using these tools? If there are technical
reasons for not wishing to pursue the use of these tools I would be
interested to hear them for educational purposes.

In a superficial search of the mailing list, I saw that Wesley Terstra
started work on autoconf scripts for state threads, but the last reference =
I
see to this work was posted in 2002 around release 1.3.

Thanks
David Syzdek
