Sound problem

Hi, Actually i have been able to make calls between two sipsets on separate machines using a standard Aureal vortex 8830 sound card using vocal 1.5 on FC2. The sipset shows the Incall state as well as the Accepted call state and seems to work properly. But i am not able to hear any kind of ringing signal or any voice while we talk using our head phones. There is no error shown to us. Can anyone help us out??
