gua for multiuser platform

Hi,

I'm on making the gua able to handle multiple users (or I would need an
application that can handle multiple incoming and outgoing calls).
On the files in vocal/sip/gua I already made the changes (change static
class members to nonstatic to eliminate global objects, ...) but now I see
that there would need such modifications in the libmedia directory's files
too.

So I do not understand why were these applications and libraries written so
that it requires lots of work to change them to multiuser shape.
The other question: is this a good way I follow to get a multiuser
application for handling multiple in- and outgoing calls?
