3D Volume Registration

Hello guys, Can any one please help me with 3D Volume Registration of dicom
images. I have been trying with other platforms and have little success.
Please guide me how to register volumes using ITK or VTK. If anyone could
provide a step by step procedure or code would be appreciated. Thanks in
advance.
