I just can't explain it. If the thread calling GetNextMessageTimeout() (as
this one does), it should be getting the messages from Windows. And then
they should be turned into wx events and processed.
The only constructive thing to do that I see is to add tracing and check
at which step the expected behaviour breaks down, maybe this will give
you/us some ideas...
