wxTaskbarIcon not displaying specified tooltip in WXGTK

I have not been able to find any mention of this but is anybody aware if this is a known issue? I have just noticed that with WXGTK3 wxWidgets 3.2(.x) as well as 3.3 (master) the taskbar icon is not displaying the tooltip specified with SetIcon() but rather the app name as collected from the commandline.
