wxConfig Strangeness

Hello,

I've been experiencing some strangeness when working with the ported
wxConfig classes on Mono/Linux.

Several instabilities have arisen when using them, and I think mono's
use of some GTK code is causing the strange behaviour.

So just a warning to those who may be using wx.Config in their
applications.
