Hi Alexander, that changed the error message but still didn't make it work.
I did ldconfig after moving the files to /usr/lib, is there something else I
have to do to get the wx.NET module visible via mono ?

Now I get...
----------
$ mono imgview.exe

** (imgview.exe:1754): WARNING **: Could not find assembly wx.NET
cannot open assembly imgview.exe
