Running wx.NET app on Linux

I'm getting the following error when trying to run a
simple wx.NET app on linux (Suse 9.0 and Mandrake 9.2)
with Mono .28 and wx.NET .3 installed:

** (Hello.exe:2674): WARNING **: Failed to load
library ./libwx-c.so (wx-c): ./libwx-c.so: undefined
symbol: _ZTV12wxFileSystem

This app compiles and runs on windows. I installed
the wx.NET rpm which copies libwx-c.so and wx.NET.dll
to /usr/lib. I have run ldconfig after installation.
I have tried to set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH and even tried
to compile with the /lib:. when the two libraries are
in the same directory. All result in the same error
shown above.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.
