second, I found sth about GTK# doing this or sth like it: [but it says 
it's in CVS, but I can't find it in CVS]
it says in http://www.go-mono.com/winforms.html in section GTK# based

The code is contained in CVS.

There are no current plans to support embedded devices, but 
Gtk/FrameBuffer is an option. If you have suggestions or 
recommendations, please let us let us know
