XRC on OS X

Trying to get back into testing this thing out on my PowerMac G5, 1.5GB
RAM, OS X 10.3.3.

Everything builds as expected in the directions README.MAC.txt, but if
I leave --enable-xrc, I receive an error when trying to make the wx.NET
files in step 5:
... (bunch of controls being made, then...)
wxstring.cxx
xmlresource.cxx
Linking wx-c
/usr/bin/libtool: can't locate file for: -lwx_gtk2ud_xrc-2.5
/usr/bin/libtool: file: -lwx_gtk2ud_xrc-2.5 is not an object file (not
allowed in a library)
make[1]: *** [../../Bin/./libwx-c.dylib] Error 1
make: *** [wx-c] Error 2

Any thoughts? XRC sounds fascinating, so I'd really like to get it up
and running if possible.

Thanks!
