A Linux build of 0.5 is now available on SourceForge at http://tinyurl.com/3d4w7. This build was done on SuSE 8.1 and should run on various older and newer Linux distributions. It has been tested on Fedora Core 1, SuSE 8.2 and 9.1, and Debian 3.0. You do not need to unpack it anywhere special; it creates it's own tree for assemblies, wxWidgets shared libraries, and the rest. As with the other builds, this includes the samples and utilities in both compiled and source form. To run a sample do the following: cd Bin ./wxnet-run sample-name.exe If you are on Linux please give this a try, even if you have previously built 0.5. If it does not work for you, please send us the output from the following commands: $ ls -l /lib /usr/lib $ rpm -q -a [ RPM-based ] $ dpkg -l [ Debian package-based ] $ LD_DEBUG=files ./wxnet-run minimal.exe One way to do this would be to use the script command. We'll probably to a /usr oriented RPM package with dependency list in the future; however, I want to see how this works before proceeding. Regards, -Mike -- Michael S.
