wxGTK and Threads

Hi,

I am currently using C# with wx.NET 0.1 and I am experiencing a problem with
wxGTK-2.4 and Threads. The code works under windows 2000 (wxMSW) and under
Linux with wxMotif BUT when I use wxGTK the GUI Part of the applications
freezes but does not throw an exception and the thread keeps working writing
out to the console.

I have compiled the latest version of GTK+ 2 with pthread support and I am
compiling wxGTK with threads, gtk2 and Unicode enabled. I have downloaded
the latest wx.NET source from cvs but I still get the same problem.

Any Suggestions as to what I am doing wrong would be greatly appreciated.
