I tried that with StaticText in the SashWindow and Wizard sample.
It works as expected. "st.ForegroundColour  = Colour.wxBLUE;" gives me a
nice blue text in the SashWindow sample and "text.ForegroundColour =
Colour.wxRED;" a red text...

Maybe you shouldn't use one of these good old Monochrome Hercules
Graphics Card (HGC) ;)))))
