Notebook refresh issues

I'm using an XRC file that contains a Frame and 2 Panels.  THe Frame
has a Notebook control in it and I use the two panels in creating tabs
on the notebook.

The main frame and the notebook itself (the tabs at top) display fine,
however the contents of the two tabs have refresh issues.  When
switching tabs not everything draws.  If I move another window (app)
in front the panels do not repaint afterwords.

Very strange.  Things are running "normally" (have an App derviced
class with a Run() call).

Any ideas?  I've used wx under C++ and Perl w/o this issue (though not
with v2.6).
