Someone who is using or wants to use wx.NET on one of their projects needs
to step forward and take over all aspects of wx.NET development. I've had
discussions on and off the developer list with folks who seemed willing to
do this, but for whatever reason things never moved forward.

I will gladly help to transfer Source Forge ownership, etc., but at a
minimum there needs to be a project manager. Everyone previously involved in
the project, myself included, have long since stopped using wx.NET for their
own personal projects. I had planned on using it for a tool back in early
2004 but stopped work on this tool that same year. I kept helping on wx.NET
since we were so short handed, but eventually interest/team members fell
off.

But this is open source. If people want it, TAKE OVER THE PROJECT! The
biggest issue was probably that the Mono folks went the Gtk# route and thus
most developers saw no reason to consider or invest in an alternative fringe
toolkit, even though it had significant advantages.

Regards,
-Mike
