I don't think it serves any purpose to move the project off of SourceForge.
People know SF and there have certainly been no arguments about write
permissions or the like. NOBODY HAS WANTED THEM: that has been the problem. 

What the project needs is someone to do further development and maintenance.
Nobody has taken the lead there. In the past some have said they would be
willing, but never followed through.

I just added a new blurb to wxnet.sf.net.

Anyway, that is just my $0.02.
