Yes, those look correct.

I tested wx.NET with a GTK+ wxWindows build, and it worked.  Since your
GTK+ install is probably correct, and fully functional, it would
probably be worth testing.

For building wxGTK (when working with multiple builds, it can be
helpful to do each separate build in a different directory):

    mkdir build_gtk && cd build_gtk
    ../configure --with-gtk && make && make install

For building wx.NET:

    premake --with-shared -gnu [--with-pnet] && make

Hopefully this yields better results.

Also, have you been able to run any of the wxGTK samples after
attempting to configure with --enable-gtk2 ?

 http://www.rpmfind.net/ is usually a good place to go to find RPMs. 
However, I was unable to find GTK+2 RPMs for RedHat, let alone RedHat
7.x.  

However, you could try getting the source RPMs (*.src.rpm) from the
latest RedHat distribution, and running 'rpmbuild --rebuild' for the
package.  Those RPMs _should_ be available somewhere on a RedHat FTP
server.

I'm also told that there are 3rd party GTK+2 RPMs out there, though I'm
not sure where either.

I'm not sure where those warnings could come from; perhaps the GTK
support forums may be of assistance here.
