This looks like the problem that has just been fixed by https://github.com/LINBIT/drbd/commit/06bbd6eec1b8d576dbda24b29d16129d43537c77 This commit is not yet included in any DRBD release. Is it feasible for you to test with the master branch? Building unreleased versions is a little tricky due to the kernel compat. Otherwise you can wait for the next release. DRBD 9.2.1-rc.1 should be here soon enough.
