The urgency of fixing defects in Bishop is underlined by the removal of PocketSword from the App Store by Apple, as Nic Carter (busy teacher in South Island, New Zealand) no longer has the time to keep it up to date with Apple's requirements.

NB. Issue #1 in the GitHub for Bishop was reported 6 July 2023.
The sole developer must have been notified. So yes - responsiveness is important!
