Postfix service filter

The first section indicates there were 36999 failed delivery attempts, 
and yet the second section suggests there were 36995 messages 
successfully sent by user root.

In actuality there were only about 40 messages, a couple of which were 
successfully delivered, and the rest deferred due to disk space limits.

It seems it would be better when calculating "Top ten local senders" to 
count messages - or at least successful deliveries - rather than 
delivery attempts.


Also, the next day the report said:

  210925808 bytes transferred
  78 messages sent
  78 messages removed from queue

  Top ten local senders:
     39 messages sent by:
        root (uid=0):

and I'm wondering why there wasn't a report of bytes transferred and 
messages sent in the previous report, given that a few messages were 
successfully delivered. In fact that section is absent from all reports 
I see except for this one. I wonder why. (While resolving the disk space 
issue, I temporarily removed the files from Postfix's queue, and then 
replaced them the next day. When those files were processed, it may have 
produced different log entries. But it looks like a bug to me that such 
information is reported under those conditions and not under normal 
delivery conditions.)

The above is with Postfix version 2.3.8-2+b1 on Debian Etch.
