It seems to be for all volumes, thumb drives, external disks, DVDs =
(except perhaps internal volumes), so I am doubtful it will be something =
on the volumes themselves. =20

No, only mds and there were some Finder processes on a couple of =
occasions.=20

Will consider this.

Again, I find it hard to understand that it's the same problem on all =
