Something is wrong in your case, and you clearly did not mention the relevant issue that causes this, therefore you need to figure that out and at least eliminate causes. We've pointed out lots of weaknesses in your design and code, so now it's YOUR responsibility to check whether those may be the cause. You still did not do that, you only gave excuses (and not good ones BTW). You did not point out any weakness in the design. You only think you did. In this case, as I have explained before, there are no other windows or panels. I am using Apple supported calls that are not deprecated. The keyWindow things works fine (and I replaced it with a test to the correct panel hardcoded and it still fails -- that is not the issue). Using keyWindow is not the issue on why it falls through. It falls through in this case when using specific references as well. I have been doing tests etc. I did not expect you to do them for me. If you do not know how NSBeginAlertPanel works and what could screw it up, then don't answer. Your suggestions have been useless in this case. Thanks anyway. Kyle had much better suggestions and understanding of how things are, not how some perfectionist wishes them to be. Sorry, but I did not ask for abuse. If you cannot answer or help answer the question, your input is useless and clogs up my mailbox. I am not trying to be rude but you have been singularly useless in providing good technical help on understanding what the problem is, instead criticizing things that may not be ideal but should work and as I explained in my case are no danger. Your suggestions have been on form and UE, which is not what I was asking about. Thanks Chad
