FWIW, I just found MediaFire.com <http://mediafire.com/>. It's free, and you can choose the security level (from public to private, with opt-in users, etc). Seems to work for my needs without the invasive overhead (no app running on my Mac). -Carl > On Apr 12, 2018, at 12:04 PM, Macs R We <[email protected]> wrote: > > I’ve never used iCloud drive myself, because I don’t like putting my stuff in the cloud – but if you pull up a Finder window and click in the left-hand column on iCloud Drive (assuming you have that icon enabled), it specifically says that you can share files with other Mac and Windows users, so I know that’s possible. > >> On Apr 12, 2018, at 11:39 AM, Carl Hoefs <[email protected]> wrote: >> >> How would that help to transfer files to s Windows user? >> >>> On Apr 12, 2018, at 11:29 AM, Macs R We <[email protected]> wrote: >>> >>> I assume the attachments aren't massive, since you are sending them via email… so have you tried using the free iCloud storage that comes with your Apple ID? >>> >>>> On Apr 12, 2018, at 11:08 AM, Carl Hoefs <[email protected]> wrote: >>>> >>>> I have to interact with a person that uses Windows & gmail.
