I'm almost positive that you won't be able to decommission your old copy for=
 the very same reason that you were not able to license your new copy =E2=80=
=93 the server required to do both is bye-bye, and you're never gonna be abl=
e to talk to it.

The next thing I would do before doing anything else, is to do my damnedest t=
o contact a live person at Parallels and tell him you're unable to use your p=
aid-up perpetual license because they made their server unavailable, and dem=
and that they do something for you. If you can't reach somebody, then find a=
 friend who has a subscription version of Parallels -- they can submit a tic=
ket and get a live person on chat or phone call, at which time they can disc=
uss your problem with Parallels.
