Issues with Abaqus input file

I run my Abaqus simulation using the input file. I created an Element set using a code outside Abaqus but in accordance with Abaqus input file format. The analysis runs, but I noticed that the Element set I created is ignored in the analysis, that is it was treated as a blank. Please any help on how I can resolve this.
