Re: use abaqus to model fatigue crack closure

It is very hard to comment or suggest you solution with limited information about your modeling procedure. 
 How did you apply the cyclic load?  

 the load increment may affect your results: 
 

 Your graph is not clear. The X-axis in your graph does not seem for the normalized depth. It seems you are using the node numbers vs the crack closure. If so, it seems that the node extracted not in order. check the coordinates of the node through the thickness and modify the graph accordingly
