Re: referencing amplitude in VDLOAD subroutine

Dear Abhishek,
Whay don't you define your time-varying load within VDLOAD subroutine? Instead of writting an time-varying amplitude and multiply that with your load, use VDLOAD and write everything about your load in that.
The amplitude parameter inside of VDLOAD refers to "magnitude" parameter that you have to define with user-defined load.

 Sir  Thank you for replyingI wrote a subroutine VDLOAD for dynamic explicit analysis in ABAQUS. the load is spatially distributed as well as varying with time.the spatial distribution works fine. For variation with time I made an amplitude in CAE module but it is not behaving as desired.As in VDLOAD subroutine there is an amplitude variable which is un-modifiable.i want to ask what is the use/function of that variable?should i need to write codes for the variation with respect to time of 'press' or it will be done automatically ?
and in manual if we see in subroutine VDLOAD, in explanation it is written that the 'press' value should be multiplied by 'amplitude', Why?I am attaching a google drive link of my simulation file please have a look.

I am facing a  problem in defining amplitude in VDLOAD subroutine. I am not able to understand as written in manual ' referencing amplitude', how to reference amplitude in VDLOAD subroutine?
