Cohesive contact not converging

Hi,

I am trying to use cohesive surface elements to model delamination. Its two wedge type shapes between which i insert the cohesive elements. It work fine if i dont do the partition but if i run the same model with partitioning the part then i get the following warning and the solution didn't converge.

Does any one know what could be the issue ?
