Emacs mode for editing .input files?

I'm after an emacs mode for editing Axiom .input files.  I'm not so keen to
run Axiom within Emacs - unless the newest mode supports typeset TeX output
- currently I'm quite happy to run it in console mode.  But I would like a
mode for editing files.  Is there one?
