Hi all,

Here is a web site of a paper showing a use of **Quadtrees** in
Scientific Computing.

   * http://www.cs.uiowa.edu/~oliveira/PAPERS/meshfree.pdf

A Parallelization of the **QuadtreeAlgorithms** is in:

    *  ftp://ftp.math.uiowa.edu/pub/comp_math_rep/report-153.pdf

We also have some work on the use of Hash Tables for Meshfree
discretizations:

   * Algebraic Multigri for Indefinite Linear Systems for Meshfree
Discretizations
(paper with Koung Hee Leem in progress).

Suely.
