SIAM Workshop on Combinatorial Scientific Computing (CSC16) Albuquerque, NM, USA October 10-12, 2016 With the continuing advances in high-performance computing (HPC) the role of computational science and engineering (CSE) has gained significant importance over the last decades. At the same time scientific simulations continue to face a number of challenges. Many of the underlying problems in these contexts are combinatorial in nature and unified by a common set of abstractions, data structures, and algorithms, often based on graphs and hypergraphs. Recently, data science and analytics has emerged as another area where combinatorial algorithms are of great importance. CSC16 provides a forum for researchers interested in the interaction of combinatorial mathematics and algorithms with CSE and/or data science. Workshop co-chairs Erik Boman (Sandia National Laboratories, USA) Assefaw Gebremedhin (Washington State University, USA) Further information, including call for participation, will be made available at www.siam.org/meetings/csc16<http://www.siam.org/meetings/csc16> _______________________________________________ Csc mailing list [email protected] https://lists.purdue.edu/mailman/listinfo/csc
