Call for Nominations George Pólya Prize in Combinatorics SIAM will present the first award of the George Pólya Prize in Combinatorics at the 2016 SIAM Annual Meeting (AN16), to be held July 11–15, 2016, in Boston, Massachusetts. The George Pólya Prize in Combinatorics honors the memory of George Pólya and is awarded every four years for a notable application of combinatorial theory. SIAM has awarded the George Pólya Prize quadrennially since 1969 for a notable contribution in combinatorics. In 2013, Pólya Prizes in two other categories of interest to George Pólya were established, and the title of this prize was clarified. Eligibility There are no restrictions except that the prize is broadly intended to recognize specific recent work. Strong preference will be given to selecting one person as the prize winner. Description of Award The award will consist of an engraved medal and a total cash prize of $10,000. Travel expenses to the award ceremony will be provided by the prize fund. Nominations Nominations should be sent to [email protected] by October 15, 2015.
