*.lisp in /usr/info, redux

Have been picking up that a v5.50 may be in the works, so took that as a 
cue finally to update the SlackBuild script for 5.49 :) It will appear 
on the Slackbuilds site within a few days:

https://slackbuilds.org/repository/15.0/academic/maxima/  (currently 
still showing the 5.48 script)

(And BTW could we add a link to that page from the installation 
instructions at 
https://sourceforge.net/projects/maxima/files/Maxima-Linux/ ? - I'm 
thinking just a note that Slackware users can install with 'sboinstall 
maxima')

One thing that came up during the Slackbuilds approval cycle for the 
5.49 package was the presence of the two .lisp files in /usr/info. The 
SBo package checking tools insist that: "Files in /usr/info must be 
valid GNU TexInfo files." They gave me a pass on this (once again) but 
also urged me to bring it up since they  don't want to do it forever.

Are there obstacles to setting it up so that the .info  files install to 
/usr/info (or /usr/share/info) and the .lisp files to somewhere else? 
(perhaps /usr/share/maxima/VERSION/help ?) Or install them all to 
/usr/share/maxima... and separately install copies of the .info  files 
to /usr/info? Perhaps instead  of copying,  one could set up soft links 
but without better understanding how texinfo  works I hesitate to 
recommend that.

I don't know of a non-distro specific standard that decrees that 
/usr/info shall not contain non-.info files but it does make sense from 
an organization  point of view.

A tangible upside to doing this is that once cleaned up, the package 
could potentially be adopted by the stock Slackware distro, which would 
be convenient and help promote maxima use.

Related to all this is the matter of gzipping the info files. The 
unzipped files throw warnings in the Slackbuilds review but it's not 
considered an error.

Anyway, I may have seen some recent discussion on all this, so if 
there's any related activity underway in advance of v5.50, I'm glad to 
help with testing etc.
