Robert,

This is actually a very interesting topic, though I consider it to be at =
an =E2=80=9Aadvanced=E2=80=98 level. This stuff goes beyond my actual =
=E2=80=9Acomfort' zone. I have read up a little on this in Rose & Smith =
(Mathematical Statistics with Mathematica; Springer) as well as in =
Beucher's work (in German). I understood your notes and outline to mean =
that this content is intended as encouragement for any interested and =
experienced user in the Maxima user group. It seems to me that an =
in-depth follow-up=E2=80=94perhaps an booklet=20

Statistics II. Advanced Statistics by N.N

would make sense here.=20
It would be great if you could step in yourself, or if another expert in =
advanced statistics could do so.=20

Nevertheless, I will study this theme and think about it.

Thanks for your hints and your interest.

Best regards,=20
Wolfgang.
