That might be an idea: MacOS binaries are required to be application bundles else they don't have access to the menu. An application bundle effectively is a zip file... ...bit gnuplot despite its name isn't GPL (see <https://www.reddit.com/r/linux/comments/n8cifo/til_gnuplot_is_not_gnu_or_fsf_opensource_project/).
