Dear PARI lovers, I am pleased to announce the release of GP2C 0.0.7, the GP to C translator. The sources can be obtained through the address http://pari.math.u-bordeaux.fr/download.html#gp2c This release is targeting the new stable release PARI 2.5.0 which was released recently. It fix a number of bugs and compatibilities issues and improves scoping of local variables declared inside blocks. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - GP2C is a compiler for GP-scripts that output C code to be linked with libpari or install'ed in GP. It can be used to compile and run a GP script, to learn how to use the PARI library, or to check a script for mistakes (with -W). It also includes gp2c-run which provides a simple way to compile PARI programs written in C. Cheers, Bill. PS: this post is also a test of the new pari-announce mailing-list setup.
