Nobody's asked you yet - perhaps they're all unix users - does this work under Windows? "aplay" appears to be a unix/linux/... app. I run Windows 11 & do have a ubuntu 24 emulation, but I don't know how to install s/w for it! Not desperately important (!), but it looks as if it might be fun to try.
