this example was for a previous version of our system (L4Env). Do not
use it for writing L4Re programs.

For L4Re, you have two options:

1) Use libpthread as in pkg/examples/libs/pthread.

2) Use Fiasco's thread primitives. For examples using this, you
   might want to grep for l4_thread_control in pkg/examples. There
   are a couple of examples using this.
