Hi,

what is the maximum amount of physical memory Pistachio can handle on
IA32 systems? Kickstart defines MAX_KMEM_END to (240*1024*1024). Both
functions virt_to_phys() and phys_to_virt() do not more than subtract/
add the KERNEL_OFFSET constant from/to the virtual/physical address.

Do I miss something? Or is it possible to use more than 240MB RAM if
it is ensured that the kernel memory is located below that boundary?
If that is true kickstart seems to miss such check in install_memory()
if no mmap was provided by the boot loader.

Frank
