Wow, that is great to hear! I noticed at the bottom of that webpage ( http://l4hq.org/arch/amd64/ ) the last line lists "no multiprocessor support" -- hence my inquiry. I am assembling a quad processor Opteron system for my personal use and would love to help out with testing or any way I can. I am interested in Intel's EMT64 as our systems at the office are all multiprocessor Xeons. I will keep an eye on source control for those check-ins ... or will there likely be a message posted to this list? I am new to the list and not familiar with the standards and procedures for features additions to the repository and announcements on the mailing list. Ultimately, i am interested in getting DROPS running on top of Pistachio with SMP. If others are working on this as well, please let me know if i can help there too. Thanks again and keep up the great work (and let me know how i can help), MikeE Jan Stoess wrote: > Hello Michael, > > >> -----Original Message----- >> From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected] >> karlsruhe.de] On Behalf Of Michael Emswiler >> Sent: Friday, June 09, 2006 7:31 PM >> To: [email protected] >> Subject: Re: SMP Support >> >> Thanks for your prompt reply. >> >> I am really looking for answers to the following questions: >> >> 1.
