Indeed, that's not a problem.

Actually, I'm more concerned about IDL4. If I understand it right, the
generated stubs are GPLed, so everything built on top of IDL4 will
be GPLed too. Is that correct?

If yes, is the only way to generate BSD-licensed stubs to implement
an IDL4 replacement from scratch?
