New to L4

Hi,
After toying with Minix for a while, I stumbled upon L4.

I was thinking of doing a thin layer supporting Linux system calls to
be able to run Linux programs on top of L4.

I was able to build the kernel last night but still need to figure out
how to build the userapps.

What would be a good document to get started with the understanding of L4 arch?
