You can always produce generic stub code (written in c), which will work fo=
r every architecture, including amd64. The platform switches are only for o=
ptimizations. Have a look at the IDL4 website and manual:

Have a little question. As I understand, the Idl4 stub generator does not d=
irectly support amd64 (only ia32/arm). Am I right? In case I'm right, is th=
ere a way to adopt the tool to this architecture? Thanks.
