Anyway, I'm more and more moving towards "prefix_name" style (like, 
"faeutil_strlcpy"), so this problem should go.

JavaScript is much more complicated and includes too many features that 
we don't use now and won't use later.  But if you look at Lua as an 
already available implementation of what you would otherwise need to do 
from scratch, it's quite good.  Isn't it.
