Ad Hoc Beer & Pizza SIG, this Thursday in San Francisco

Pizza, Perl, and Phree software...

There will be an informal gathering this Thursday at Pasquales Pizzeria,
the usual SFPUG venue.  The excuse for this is the fact that Ben Tilly,
a Prominent Person in the Open Source and Perl communities, is passing
through town.  I'm announcing this on both the SFPUG and FSB (Free
Software Business) list, so there should be an interesting mix...

      Parking: Pretty much catch-as-catch-can.  Street parking is not too
      bad in this neighborhood.  There's also a couple of flat-rate lots
      nearby.

      From BART: Be prepared for a bit of a crowd, as this is the end of
      the prime commute time.  Get off at the Embarcadero station. Within
      the station, exit BART, enter MUNI, and catch the N (outbound).
      Get off at Irving St. and 7th Ave.

      From Caltrain: (Don't take Caltrain if you can avoid it. Trains run
      back at 10:00 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. only!)  From the station, take the
      N to Irving St. and 7th Ave.

      By Car:  The simplest way to reach this neighborhood from the North
      or South Bay is to get on 19th Avenue, then head East on Lincoln
      (just South of GG Park).  In about a mile, turn right on 8th Avenue.
      If you are heading South on 19th, you'll have to loop around the
      block (right on Irving, right on 20th Avenue, right on Lincoln).

      If you are driving in from the East Bay, you might try going West on
      Fell St; bearing left through the park will drop you on Lincoln and
      you can make a left on 7th Avenue.
