Dropping invalid and searching on just patents site:www.crynwr.com gets 37 some hits. Using the keyword "patent" gets 44 hits. Seems like low numbers. hum... (use unique keyword that I know is in the archive... zero results) It would be easier on Russ's server and bandwidth and easier for you if he made the mbox archives available rather then spidering his web interface.
