I've spent some time coming up with reasons why linux
and gpled software stands quite well on it's own
merits. Rather than as an "alternative".

Again, I've been looking to market to not-for-profits,
and so I'm hoping the concepts of intellectual freedom
and completely open standards will have an appeal.

Then there is the fine point of buy once, use often.
Set up and utilize this OS and that software, then as
you grow, you just add on. No need to rekey, repurchase,
re whatever. Your cost-per-seat is not an issue. Not at
all.


If the "spam, pop-ups, viruses, crashes," et al come up
in conversation, all the better. But not as part of a leading
pitch.
